Camping at Camp Trask
Camp Trask, also known as Trask Scout Reservation, hosts weekend campouts, day programs, and summer camp in Monrovia Canyon Park. This guide covers reservations, what to bring, arrival, and where to get help.
Who Camp Trask serves
Camp Trask is a welcoming place for Scout units, families, and friends to gather. Programs include weekend campouts, day programs, merit-badge days, and summer adventures. Scouting values guide these programs: character, stewardship, adventure, and community.
Reservations and program days
Current availability and registration are maintained through the Greater LA Council calendar and booking system. This site does not list availability directly. Gate and park access follow program days, so always check the calendar before you go.
What to bring
Pack for a day in the canyon: a reusable water bottle, sunscreen and a hat, comfortable walking shoes, snacks and lunch, a flashlight, and a rain jacket in season. See the full packing list on our directions page.
Before you arrive
Camp sits at 1100 N Canyon Blvd, Monrovia, CA 91016, about half a mile inside Monrovia Canyon Park. The entrance is easy to miss. Watch the right-hand fork for the small brown sign. Parking is free in the camp lots, and the terrain is uneven, so wear appropriate footwear.
